Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues. The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription or cancel an appointment.

Access

There is disabled access to the front of the building of the Uppermill Surgery and disabled toilet facilities. Please make the receptionist aware of any requirements, when booking the appointment, so the doctor or nurse is aware of your needs.

Training Practice

GP Registrars

The practice is approved for the training of registered Doctors who intend to enter general practice once qualified. These GP Registrars, who have extensive hospital experience, are attached to the practice, usually for 12 months, and are integrated into the practice team.

Medical Students

We are involved in the teaching of Manchester University medical students who visit the practice regularly for short periods and gain much from this experience. You will be told if your doctor has a student with him/her. Please let the Receptionist know if you prefer to see the doctor alone.
